Windows Technician with Swedish
Main responsibilities:
- Preparing and testing products that follow internal regulations and fulfill the agreed quality
- Testing application packages to ensure high quality and to minimize issues after deployment
- Securing compatibility of various applications used in the Volvo Group
- Securing compliance of used applications with internal rules and external laws
- Follow Volvo IT's quality assurance system
Future possible responsibilities:
- Application Packaging for Windows 7 environment
- Ensuring that the application packages are created in a timely manner, following a process driven model
- Taking part in tasks of the Application Packaging Function (APF) group
- Maintaining and developing the virtual environment used for application packaging and testing
- Securing application updates, internal compliance, solving problems according to internal KPIs
Required Competencies:
- At least Bachelor degree
- Preferable: at least one year well documented experience in the Windows applications area
- High level of technical understanding
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, both written and spoken
- Proactive team player
- Good listener and ability to share knowledge
- Well organized and attentive to details
- Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural and diverse organization
- Business oriented and ability to establish good relations with our requestors.
