Procurement Process Senior Specialist

Position purpose
The purpose of this position is to support the business & stakeholders with an efficient and effective procurement of indirect goods and services thereby meeting & exceeding the service delivery to clients.
Main accountabilities
- Should possess good Procurement Knowledge, preferably Indirect ProcurementÂ
- Working experience in Interacting with end customers / SuppliersÂ
- Validate purchase requisitions and Create Purchase OrdersÂ
- Indirect Procurement KnowledgeÂ
- Transmits POs to suppliers and manages order confirmationÂ
- Exhibit skills towards deriving savings from requests handledÂ
- Expedites delivery when needed/requestedÂ
- Manages goods/services claims and escalation point for advanced customer queriesÂ
- Handling amendment requests of Purchase Orders and liaising with suppliers for actionÂ
- Experience in handling customer or supplier queries over calls and emailsÂ
- Files documents according to procedures for audit purposesÂ
- Interact with plant buyers and purchasing agents for seamless transactionÂ
- Should have an understanding on how system activities influence the operation and how business activities affect the systemÂ
Requirements
- Fluent French language (C1 level is a must)Â
- Good knowledge of English Language (B2)Â
- Experience in procurement department (at least 2,5 years)Â
- Demonstrates ownership to the process and resultsÂ
- Proficient/ Expert in MS-ExcelÂ
- Exposure to SAP and any other procurement tool will be an added advantage
- Client-focus attitude and interpersonal skillsÂ
- Ability to work under pressureÂ
- Well organized and able to prioritize tasksÂ
- Continually seeks out ways to improve Client satisfactionÂ
- Proactively shares knowledge and best practicesÂ
