Accounting Supervisor (English/ German)
Workplace: based in the branch office, Warsaw
Responsible for
- communication with team members / acc mng
- preparing the accounting training materials for internal and external purposes
- leading internal trainings
- leading external trainings
- recruitment of team members
- correcting acc tests filled by candidates on interviews
- leading team working on the particular acc projects
- supporting team from methodical point of view
- delegating tasks to team members
- couching team members
- providing feedback to team members
- leading the evaluation interviews
- communication with clients / meeting the clients (solving all acc issues within the projects) / account manager of the clients
- selling the acc services to current and potential clients
- independent managing accountancy projects
- identifying the risks within the projects
- setup of cooperation with new clients
Education
- University with economical specialization (in case of no University, employee must have three more year's experience in processing of accounting)
- local/international certification (finished)
- ACCA study (in progress)
Key duties / responsibilities
- to follow general and security directives
- to follow internal accounting directives
- to input timers on daily basis
- to approve timers on daily basis
- to go through timers with team members on monthly basis (check how much time they spent on particular activities)
- to follow general rules connected with discipline
Qualifications / trainings
- University with economical specialization
- strong accounting knowledge of local legislation
- strong knowledge of taxes
- good knowledge of IFRS
Previous experience
- six year’s experience in processing of accounting
- four year’s experience in tax return preparation (VAT tax return, CIT/PIT tax return)
- two year’s experience in supervision of accounting / couching team members
