Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
In this position you will be responsible for the configuration, performance and optimization of Netcool, Nagios, FullVision, Arcsight, and SiteProtector applications. Responsibilities will also include working with business stakeholders to capture requirements, design and develop the system, perform system validation, develop and administer training and provide system maintenance.You will be required to:- design, organize, modify, and support Application systems- Effectively perform these duties & conform to existing process and best practices.- Understand software and hardware fundamentals to operation of documentation system.- Understand and implement disaster recovery considerations to include downtime procedures.
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
- 3+ years of support of Linux systems (Red Hat preferred)- Troubleshooting experience in working with product vendor and customers.- Understanding of firewalls, LANs, and WANs-A network background- Windows OS experience will be an advantage- Quick leaner
