Currently for our client, international production company we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of LSS Black Belt.

The Person employed on that position will be responsible for leading improvement projects within the Plant and effectively coordinate these projects with project teams. Project leadership includes: identifying opportunities; defining & financially justifying projects; launching project teams; using good project management to manage team activities; leading teams to execute projects with the LSS problem solving methodology; tracking project status and results; removing and elevating project barriers; and development team members. Ensure projects are integrated with other business activities, improvement projects and business strategy. Besides Black Belt will be responsible for identifying potential Black Belts and recruit team members into the LSS infrastructure. Provide training and coaching to team members to spread the base of LSS problem solving tools and increase team effectiveness.

The ideal Candidate should have few years of industrial/manufacturing process improvement experience, preferably in a leadership/supervisory role, Black Belt certification (also candidates without a Black Belt certificate after the Black Belt training and certified Green Belt with a longer experience are welcome) and superior oral & written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the company. To be successful on that positions candidate should have very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and also previous exposure to materials, manufacturing, and related product knowledge. An advantage will be proven project management and leadership abilities in a team environment and group facilitation and trainer/instructor skills.
