Department Overview

Centralized Managed and Support Operations is part of Services organization where we support external customers. Our Mission statement: We will be the leading provider of integrated mission-critical services that make our customers’ operations reliable, smarter and more efficient while delivering exceptional customer experiences and outcomes.

As a Cloud/System Engineer you will:

• Help the teams with CI/CD setup for automated testing, infrastructure provisioning, production releases
• Identify, implement and improve automation in various areas of the cloud-based and hybrid solutions
• Implement automation scripts 
• Automate the daily operations tasks, implement preventive maintenance automations as well as monitoring of the environments
• Seek and recommend improvements to current processes
• Troubleshoot environments as problems arise, test fixes, and perform follow-ups to ensure problems have been adequately resolved
• Support current Cloud environments on AWS/Azure
• Design, implement and improve AWS architectures for new and existing projects
• Design the AWS environments to incorporate new/relevant AWS features and functionality based on application needs
• Make sure cloud environments adhere to standards and policies, are kept clean and efficient

• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Systems Engineer or DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer or Software Engineer with expertise creating infrastructure automation
• Experience with AWS/Azure 
• Design/Develop a platform strategy to use common toolsets, procedures, practices across both on-prem and cloud environments
• Knowledge of the following tools: Git, Jenkins, Jira, Docker
• Experience with Python, Bash or PowerShell or other languages commonly used in the systems automation 
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows Operating Systems 
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment in virtual and cloud environments
• Experience with configuration management tools
• Working knowledge of container technologies like Docker or Kubernetes 
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated and driven to learn new technologies
• Good task and project management skills
• Ability to work in a team, good communication skills, open to mentoring 
• Working proficiency in English
