We are currently looking for Devops & DBA Engineers for the BigFix Inventory product team in Krakow, located at O3 Business Campus on Opolska street. As a Devops & DBA Engineer, you will have a strong technical background and be responsible for:
- setting up and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment for the product
- setting up and maintaining product test and beta virtualized environments
- contributing to any process improvements to optimize the software life-cycle and maximize the team’s productivity
- contributing to test automation, troubleshooting product's issues
Qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Technology or Engineering
- Proven experience in DevOps or QA related tasks with track record of successful projects in this role
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle database installation and administration
- Experience in performing problem determination & root cause analysis
- Strong analytical ability
Required Technical Skills
- Oracle database installation and administration
- Docker / Kubernetes, including setting up environments and preparing images
- Virtualization technologies like: VMWare, Hyper-V, Xen, KVM,
- TCP/IP networks administration
- PKI, HTTP, SSL/TLS
- Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (e.g. Jenkins)
- Good knowledge of at least one language: Java, Python, PowerShell, Linux shell scripts, OS administration (Linux and Windows)
- Java application servers installation and administration
- SQL database (MS SQL, IBM DB2) administration is nice to have
- Distributed version control systems and project management tools (GIT, or similar)
- Experience with JIRA

- Familiarity with Public Clouds
