*Manage and configure multiple environments purposed for development *Own infrastructure plan, be able to suggest optimal technological options *Forecast environments capacity *Coordinate Database Administrator's tasks *Plan release implementation activities including disaster recovery *Communicate with middleware services
*3+ years of experience in IT *Proficient spoken and written English is a must *Strong experience with Unix operating system and tools *Previous experience with any SQL relational databases, ability to write DB scripts is a must (Oracle/PLSQL preferred) *Good understanding of technologies used for data center/infrastructure space including: SAN management, LAN and WAN, database management, middleware technologies *Strong experience of Windows operating system domain/user administration and tools *Understanding of Change Management and Release Management processes *Ability to support several concurring working streams/tasks and efficiently work under time pressure *Strong analytical skills *Ability to work independently and efficiently reach targets in cooperation with distributed multinational team *Proactive and "Getting things done" attitude and problem solving skills
Our team develops, maintains and evolves of a large scale enterprise system consisting of intranet web applications and back-end services. The system implements data management and workflow in the domain of Legal Entity reference data in top tier Investment Bank. The project technologies landscape is: Java, Groovy, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, Lucene/Solr, Oracle, Informatica Power Center(ETL), MDM, IBM Web Sphere, Apache Tomcat .
Current development team configuration expects differentiation by skills: Database and Java developer. While the team is being distributes through several locations, our main presence is in Krakow.
