- Providing transaction execution support for Accenture Ventures & Acquisition activity across Europe covering business and financial analysis, and due diligence
- Supporting the evaluation and negotiation of potential acquisitions, mergers, joint ventures and divestitures
- Analyzing business segments, reviewing business plans
- Developing financial models demonstrate impact of business on the economics of the operating and Capability Groups within Accenture
- Preparing target company valuations
- Performing appropriate finance due diligence exercises to ensure viability and "fit" and coordinating across multi-disciplined work streams for other areas of due diligence
- Developing evaluation criteria to target and assessing potential acquisitions and mergers.
- Supporting negotiation of key transaction documents.
- Preparing reports for senior Accenture executive team and Board review
- Communicating with target management and their advisers
- Training other Corporate Development & Transaction Services Team Members and sharing knowledge and techniques
- Up to 3 years of experience gained in Big4 or in Mergers and Acquisitions or Corporate Development department
- University degree in finance, ACCA, CIMA or CFA certificate completed or in-progress is an advantage
- Proficiency in English both verbal and written
- Proficiency in German and/or French will be an additional advantage
- Ability to work on complex projects in a multicultural environment
- Willingness to travel for business across Europe
- Ability to establish strong relationship and trust with Executives
