You’ll join P&L and Balance Sheet Control organisation, where we are responsible for profit & loss and balance sheet reporting, controlling and analyses across Nordea Markets and Treasury. The specific role requires technical skills to create and maintain solutions supporting the unit’s responsibilities. We service and engage with a large number of stakeholders and are required to be flexible and innovative in our daily work.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving the design, development and implementation of various reporting solutions and related controls.
- Supporting the main processes of the unit i.e. controlling, reporting and analysing by implementing processes and tools across teams.
- Analysing profit and loss and balance sheet drivers and various other elements relevant for the unit.
- Be part of the monthly closing process of financial reporting in Nordea
- Running controls and validation checks against our inbound and outbound data flows
- Engaging stakeholders with regular and ad-hoc queries, including internal and external auditors
- Helping to develop value adding practical solutions to improve both the efficiency and quality of our reporting.

Your experience and background:
- you are proactive and willing to speak up, and propose initiatives and ideas based upon your ability to analyse complex issues
- proficiency in various programming languages e.g. VBA, SQL and Python
- have a relevant degree in the fields of computer science, business, economics, finance or accounting, and we expect the ideal candidate to have minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- should have strong communication skills and be fluent in written and spoken English.
- knowledge of financial products and financial markets is considered an advantage.
