In our Kraków Business Centre, supporting operations across EMEA we are currently setting-up new function supporting Finance Service Centre department of FedEx. We are currently looking for Accounting Professionals to join this new team as:

Financial Accountant/Associate – Banking team

Job Purpose: This position will support the European Finance Service Center in performing diverse accounting duties relating to defined aspects of financial accounting & record keeping for one or more legal entity or country.

Key Accountabilities:

While working on this position you will be a part of banking team handling bank payments. You key duties will include downloading, analyzing and reconciling bank statements, processing bank manual payments, performing investigations on return payments. You will also interact with Banks and other external parties to ensure all payments are processed and settled in timely manners. You will support defined financial compliance & control standards by providing appropriate advice to customers & by ensuring all actions are in compliance with US GAAP and all local statutory accounting and fiscal regulations.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should speak fluent English and have at least 1 year of experience in accounting. Good written and verbal communication skills and ablility to present to a number of different audiences, excellent numerical & reconciliation skills, in depth analytical skills are also a must. Good knowledge and understanding of accounting process such as analyzing and reconciling bank statements, payments processing, month end-closing on AP accounts is also required.
