in Europe.
Currently we are looking for candidates for the position:
Financial Process and Quality Specialist
Location: Warsaw
Key Responsibilities:
- Supports implementation of the new tools and solutions in SSC
- Leads the implementation of BlackLine (i.e. GL/ R2R process automation software)
- Leads BlackLine project team to accomplish project objectives, including project management activities:
- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and workplan
- Maintain project schedules and project budget
- Track and control progress to achieve completion of projects within time and budget
- Ensure decisions and outcomes are documented appropriately
- Communicate project status including risks to all project stakeholders
- Monitor resource utilization and forecast resource needs
- Drive resolution of major issues and manage project interdependencies and handoffs
- Identifies and ensures on-going process improvements in finance and accounting area
- Implements process changes
- Analyzes and map finance processes
- Analyzes and reports KPIs
- Helps the team to improve efficiency
- Provides trainings and coaches the team in a daily work
- Assures the quality of SSC processes and the team's deliverables to internal and external clients
- Leverage problem solving and influencing skills
- Build relationships and collaborate with key stakeholders and FSSC teams to ensure delivery of commitments
- Consistently follow all internal policies and procedures
Profile:
- At least 3-4 years of practical experience in R2R/ GL activities with focus on month-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries or in financial audit/consulting
- Prior work in BIG4 and/or SSC will be an asset
- Knowledge of finance, accounting principles and practices
- Experience in financial process transformation software (i.e. BlackLine/ Runbook) will be an advantage
- Experience in working with ERP class systems (SAP preferred) will be welcome
- Understanding of operational processes within the financial services industry: Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Knowledge of MS Project will be an advantage
- Excellent analytical skills
- Professional experience in implementation of financial tools and/or systems
- Practical knowledge of project management methodologies and techniques
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Very strong management, project management, leadership and relationship management skills
- Additional professional qualifications such as ACCA/ CIMA/ Chartered Account wiil be an advantage
- Self-starter
- Strong ethic of work
- Proficiency in English
