For our Client – a global prestigious organization based in Poznan, we are currently looking for a Manager General Accounting with fluent English who would join the team of professionals and contribute on a daily basis to GL processes development.
The core responsibilities will include but not be limited to have management responsibility for a general ledger and fixed asset team and provide support to the head of shared services. Furthermore GL Manager needs to assign and supervise clearly defined performance objectives for assigned teams as well as understand and monitor SLAs and KPIs. Besides GL Manager will participate in GL internal recruitment and selection processes and resolve and escalate customer queries.
A successful candidate will hold preferably university degree in finance and accounting and will have a solid relevant working experience – at least 5 years including supervising roles. Additionally a suitable candidate will have a proven knowledge of finance and accounting processes ideally supported by professional certifications. Moreover international experience, strong service orientation and excellent leadership skills to motivate and lead a team. Finally good SAP and IFRS/tax regulation knowledge as well as fluent English on a professional level is a must.
