Department Overview
Motorola Solutions Finance Operations Center (FOC) provides world-class finance, accounting and purchasing services to Motorola branches in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA); North America (NA) and Latin America (LA) regions. Job Description
We are looking for a candidate who will lead Global Supply Chain Cost Accounting team of 8 people across two sites Krakow, Poland and Penang, Malaysia.
Key responsibilities and scope:

Oversee monthly close process and ensure that Inventory and Cost of Goods Sold transactions are properly recorded

Partner with Site Operations personnel to ensure internal controls framework is in place and effective

Contribute to all initiatives impacting Supply Chain - including acquisitions, divestitures, outsourcing arrangements

Ensure that all Cost Accounting accounts and journal entries are properly prepared, reviewed/approved

Engage in all IT transformation projects impacting Supply Chain

Support Supply Chain Finance, Product Finance, Business Team Finance related to Costs of Goods Sold

Drive process improvement and standardization across sites

Manage & develop both local and international cost accounting team

Supervise physical inventory audits and expanded cycle counts at sites

Serve as liaison for both internal/external auditors

Manage completion of SOX testing for Supply Chain sites/cycles

Finance Support for Alsdorf and EA Repair SC operations

Develop talent within the organization

Motivate the team to achieve individual and team objectives
Basic Requirements
- Degree in accounting, finance or equivalent from leading universities
-
Professional qualification of internationally recognized organization (i.e. CIMA, ACCA, CPA)

Around 10 years of progressive finance experience with clear demonstration of people management and process improvement in accounting or audit area

Strong knowledge of International accounting standards and US GAAP

Excellent communication skills, ability to influence Finance and non-Finance staff

Excellent English (written and spoken)

Strong analytical skills to understand complex situations rapidly

Experience in using advanced reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI) as a significant advantage

Oracle Financial Systems experience as a plus

Confident/Self Starter with a proactive approach

Outstanding interpersonal skills to build working relations with people at different levels
