Job Description
Motorola Solutions is on a journey to drive unprecedented value through a data-driven culture. We are seeking an IT Business System Analyst (BSA) who is a lifetime student, passionate about the use of technology to solve business problems. This role would be part of IT Data and Analytics organization. The selected candidate would support the current and future implementation of Oracle Customer Master Data application. The role would work closely with global business functions including Sales, Supply Chain, Order Management, Finance, and Marketing. The role would also support customer master data management team in Krakow, Poland.

Support the implementation of customer master program including application administration, ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements.

Create, analyze, and maintain functional and technical documentation.

Translate business rules and requirements into detailed technical specifications.

Design, configure, test and deploy functionality in Oracle CDM (Cloud version of Customer Data Master application) per business requirements.

Perform customer data analysis with the business partners and come up with solutioning to resolve master data issues.

Assist business process experts in defining standard operating procedures, process flows and related documentation.

Participate in projects and initiatives across multi-functional areas as customer master data technical lead.

Build, and run the recurring customer data quality reports. Participate in the data stewards meeting to ensure data quality, compliance and consistency of product master data.

Learn new systems outside of the current responsibilities. Analyze business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work through the use of technology.

Face-off to the business functions, data stewards, data operations team, coordinate and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Be a key IT member to support the customer data management team in Krakow, Poland.

Experience with configuring a customer master data management application. Experience with an Oracle master data application is desired, but not mandatory.

Understanding of data management practices such as data integration, master data management, metadata management, data quality management.

Experience with configuring a data quality application, preferably Oracle Enterprise Quality (EDQ) tool would be a plus.

Experience with integrations to downstream systems such as eCommerce applications, Oracle ERP, and upstream systems such as Salesforce, Oracle EDQ (Enterprise Data Quality) applications would be a plus.

Willingness and ability to get hands on code, model, develop, write SQL.

Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and knowledge of tools such as Jira.

ITIL and Enterprise Change Management background.

Technical project management background.

Drive to stay current on skills and technology in the master data space.

Knowledge of common data and database pitfalls and how to avoid them.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, MIS or relevant technology.
- 5+ years of experience in the IT profession with 3+ years experience in support and implementation of a customer master data application.
- Understanding of Master Data Management, Data Catalog, Data Modelling, Data Lineage.
