The Project Manager in IT structure is accountable for the delivery of all IT components of a project. He or she will work with members of the BIM/PIM organizations and the IT Service Provider organizations to deliver IT solutions that meet the needs of our customers. The Project Manager could be assigned to manage any type of project within IT department, relying on his or her project management expertise and skills to do so. He/she may be assigned a single large project or multiple intermediate projects as determined by size and scope and other project characteristics.
- Using standard project management processes, manage the IT components of solution delivery from FEL1 through Go-Live and Transition. Deliver projects on time, on target, and on budget.
- Know, understand, and execute projects in accordance with the Project Assessment and Delivery Process (PDP).
- Build project teams by provisioning the appropriate resources from IT Service Providers, transforming individuals from various organizations into an integrated and effective working unit.
- Create and monitor project schedules.
- Manage risk and issues associated with IT delivery of projects.
- Manage, monitor, and report project progress.
- Communicate to all stakeholders in a timely, concise manner.
- Manage IT related costs, internal and external, associated with project delivery.
- Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, or computer science
- Competent in most phases of the project delivery lifecycle from process design through production support.
- 1 - 3 years formal project management with increasing responsibility and complexity and an additional 2 years of other Information Technology experience
- Proven experience with project management processes, such as risk management, schedule management, issue management, etc.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clear, concise business communication for multiple levels (management, technical, user)
- Experience in customer facing positions
- Fluent English is a must. Knowledge of additional language (French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish) would be an asset
- Some travel and flexible hours required
