Job Description:
- Resolve incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production systems
- Provide technical support for AIX and Linux based production and development systems
- Install, configure and, maintain AIX and Linux servers/services
- Implement, analyze and assess the impact of changes on maintained systems
- Create and maintain technical documentation for supported systems/services
- Follow corporate procedures on change or incident management
- Orientation on the infrastructure development
- Very good English
- Experience in AIX and Linux administration (at least 4 years)
- Troubleshooting/analytics skills
- Good Bash scripting skills (Perl or Python skills will be considered as an advantage)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP stack
- Knowledge of network services and protocols - like HTTP, DNS, SMTP, NFS, NTP
- Experience with OS security (hardening)
- Basic knowledge of ITIL
- Willingness and ability to learn
- Ownership attitude toward clients
- Fluent working under pressure in case of solving P1 incidents
- Interpersonal skills – good team player
