YOUR RESPOSIBILITIES:
- Ensuring and supporting that packaging material of own brand products meet set requirements and specifications (primary, secondary, tertiary etc. including SRP)
- Ensuring and supporting that packaging material of own brand products are functional, safe and legal and in accordance with business requirements
- Setting up and managing efficient communication channels between Producers, Packaging suppliers, Design, Artwork and Technical Teams
- Controlling production and quality standards of packaging materials of own brand products
- Evaluating, selecting and negotiating with packaging suppliers
- Identifying and choosing products from packaging suppliers
- Reviewing packaging of existing own brand products and provide directions for improvement
- Providing packaging expertise and knowledge to Technical and Design teams
- Keeping up-to-date Technical team with packaging material and technological innovations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Good degree in an appropriate technical, scientific or engineering subject (can include graphic design, biology, biochemistry, mechanical engineering, production or manufacturing engineering, materials sciences)
- Postgraduate packaging technology qualification can be beneficial
- Fluent English
- 2 year experience in packaging in industry
