Develop High quality business and functional requirements and obtain timely sign-off by all respective parties. This includes elicitation, analysis, documentation and validation of functional requirements
Hold workshops with developers to walkthrough the requirements
Validate the solution by testing the solution in line with defined acceptance criteria and test to requirement tractability matrix
Manage requirements and scope over the course of project and maintain clear communication across the team
Possess excellent communication skills and inter-personal skills; Good level of spoken and written English (including business and financial terms)
Ability to drive discussions between stakeholders and arrive at agreement on what should be done
Self-motivated and driven attitude. Ready to learn new things and do whatever is necessary to "get the job done" attitude
Solid attention to details and ability to find gaps
Ability to assess alternate options for a specific problem
Not hesitant to ask questions and reach out to people to clarify things
Ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential.
Key technical skills
Unified Modeling Language (UML)
Microsoft Viso, Excel
Tools/ experience with generating work flow diagrams and UI mockups
Enterprise architect is a plus
Qualifications and experience
Knowledge in banking / finance industry
Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and the activities involved in each stage
Demonstrate experience of producing business/ functional requirements for high impact software projects
Has experience in eliciting business requirements from the users/ product owners.
Has performed analysis on business requirements in accordance with technical/ business constraints
Has experience of producing clear and concise documentation of specifications
Has tested software from quality assurance perspective to check if developed solutions are in line with business requirements
A degree in Economic/Finance or Business discipline
Certificates in business Analysis is a plus
