Welcome to the Patching and Vulnerability Governance team. We add value by proactively de-risking the bank through enhancing vulnerability remediation endeavours. As (Senior) IT Security Specialist, you’ll play a valuable role in decreasing Nordea’s exposure to threats through identification, evaluation and prioritization of security patches.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating actions of capability dedicated to driving vulnerability remediation actions (EDC-based service component);
- Manage and report on SLA fulfilment related to the service related contract;
- Ensuring relevant stakeholders are aware of new security patches and appropriate action has been taken;
- Effectively orchestrate and drive efforts of a security specialists’ sub-team to ensure solid and sustainable process results;
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to ensure process and operations are planned and managed accurately.

Your experience and background:
- proven experience in coordination of EDC-based service component activities and service level management;
- ability to identify and improve performance measurement and reporting processes;
- experience in predicting, identifying, and resolving risks related to the managed services;
- experience with process and service management across different locations and a multi-sourced environment;
- proven aptitude for focusing on priorities and coordinating efforts to overcome any resistance, setbacks, and obstacles that may arise;
- a very good understanding of security domains, especially vulnerability assessment and security patching areas;
- good understanding of risk based approach and risk management;
- excellent command of business and technical English is a must (both written and spoken).
