- Work with project business and system analysts to clarify the requirements and then implement them
- Participate in code reviews
- Enforce standards and best practices
- Participate in Agile SDLC
- Proficient in .NET / C# related stack of technologies, desktop applications and large scale cloud services for extensive calculations
- Strong DB experience (MS SQL)
- Hands on experience in WCF, Web API, RESTful, SOAP, IIS
- Experience with MS front-end technology stack is highly beneficial
- Experience in Python and/or Java is a plus
- Experience with JIRA, GIT, TeamCity
- Understanding of Agile SDLC, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, User Acceptance Testing processes
- Familiarity with financial markets, trading and investment management
- Very good communication skills
- Advanced spoken and written English
- Be quick learner and have a desire to learn the domain and its business processes
The Customer:
Our Customer is one of the world's largest investment management companies. Based in Southern California, our client manages close to $2 trillion in assets and is looking for a new partner to participate in a full scale upgrade of their technology.
The client is planning to upgrade his core investment research collaboration platform basing of modern technologies, including:

▶ Production Health Management
◆ Incident management
◆ Root cause analysis
◆ Monitoring and health checks
▶ Production defect fixing (shared with Dev team)
▶ Prioritized user requests
▶ Handling data quality issues
▶ Disaster recovery support
▶ Statistics and metrics collection and reporting
▶ Quarterly service reviews, including performance and metrics
▶ Support of technical upgrades (changes to the applications due to infrastructure upgrades and patches)
▶ Requirements documentation within the available resource capacity
