Senior Project Manager

Responsibilites
Managing all aspects of an IT project, which includes project planning, execution, time, quality, cost and early identification of potential issues:
- Collaborating and aligning with the program manager and requirement providers;
- Ensuring requirements are effectively analyzed, assigned and efficiently delivered;
- Identifying and managing stakeholders and clients, evaluating their interests and establish communication channels and collaboration;
- Providing the stakeholders with transparent, accurate and regular information regarding the project status;
- Functional management of the project team in a matrix organization, ensuring efficient use of resources;
- Ensuring compliance with principles and standards;
- Acting as Subject Matter Expert for the assigned application and projects;
- Embeding Risk Awareness by designing and operating an effective control environment, proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as IT Project or Program Manager for large scale and complex projects with end-to-end project scope;
- Profound IT knowledge with expertise in application development. Hands-on experience in multiple project roles, as well as knowledge in financial service institutions is a plus;
- Experienced in RUP methodology;
- Strong stakeholder management;
- Strong communication skills;
- Team-player with leader capabilities;
- Ability to work under pressure;
- Language: English fluent, German would be nice to have;
- Commitment to work in Zurich, Switzerland for a minimum of 3 - 6 month during introduction and ramp-up phase, with short term travel to Zurich when needed in a later phase;
- Dedication, agility, drive and commitment;
- PMI PMP or equivalent is appreciated.
- Experience in Java and/or Datawarehouse projects would be appreciated, but is not necessary
