Currently for our Client, a global company operating in banking industry, we are looking for Senior Valuation Controller to join the finance centre in Cracow.
The job holder will be responsible for improving control through Fair value Adjustment and Independent price verification method analysis and development and identifying and resolving production exceptions where possible and working closely with on-shore Valuation Control teams as and when required to resolved exceptions. What is more, your scope of duties will also include assigning processes completed within timescales and in an efficient manner ensuring consistency and accuracy and providing and obtaining feedback from line manager at least once a quarter. Additionally, your scope of duties will also include reengineering and streamlining processes as part of the move to adopting a shared service center model to achieve economies of scale and increased service quality.
To be successful on this position you need to have university degree from a reputed institution in financial or economic subject or graduate in Mathematic, Physic or similar. We are looking for somebody who has excellent English knowledge, as well as MS Excel, MS Access and VBA. The ideal candidate has good understanding of Financial Markets, experience in finance or Treasury department. What is more, Valuation or Product Control experience is strongly preferred. You need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
