For our Client – international IT company – we are looking for:
Tableau Consultant

Localisation: Warsaw
Duration: long-term cooperation - min. 12 months


The role is focused on development of dashboards and reports using Tableau, but will also participate in data flow design and work with the team to consider other aspects of system design that affect the user’s interaction with data.
The BI system acts as a central point of data integration for multiple applications and components, and provides a mix of reporting and analytical services ranging from in-depth data exploration and analysis to regulatory and financial reporting.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years’ experience with Tableau development in a delivery-oriented environment
• Deep familiarity with Tableau Server and Desktop functionality
• Awareness of accepted principles of data visualization and usability
• Advanced SQL development – including awareness of principles of writing efficient queries, principles of data warehouse schemas.
• Experience working in a Unix/Linux command line environment
• Experience working with source code repository and Bug Tracking tools – good awareness of principles of team software development and source code management
• Spoken and written English for communication with an international team

Nice to have:

• DB2-specific experience is desired
• ETL tools and principles – Some experience in one or more of the major ETL toolsets (Informatica, Datastage, Cognos, SSIS, etc.)
• Familiarity with Perforce source control
• Familiarity with JIRA for defect and task tracking
