Our client, leading global water technology company with operations in more than 150 countries . We are looking for them experienced candidate for Trade Compliance Position.
The person on this position will be mainly responsible for the development and implementation of procedures and metrics to ensure import and export compliance with Laws & Regulations and Corporate Policies at the business location. This person will also act as the International Trade subject matter expert for business location. This includes implementing and enforcing Corporate Trade initiatives which may include local and foreign government initiatives. They also work with other business location department managers to assure full compliance in their respective areas. Candidate would work mainly independently (reporting to TC EMEA Manager) and cooperate with clients, custom agent, forwarders and suppliers.
To be successful in this role you should have at least 3 years in domestic and international traffic/transportation with emphasis on International. Experience in freight forwarding would be an advantage. A successful Candidate would have Bachelor Degree (International Trade, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration) or 2-year college degree preferred with specialized knowledge in traffic with equal experience to commensurate. Candidate should have specialized knowledge connected with WCO Harmonized Tariff Classification and be proficient in understanding and implementation of country specific Import and Export Regulations. Moreover, we are looking for customer service oriented, self-motivated and disciplined Candidate with multi-tasking skills. Finally effective Candidate must speak English fluently (C1 level) and have strong verbal and written communication skills.
