Your Responsibilities: 


GSK Finance Hub in Poznan is a new Finance team and one of 3 regional GSK Finance Hubs which will be at the heart of the new GSK Finance Operating Model. In addition to driving the performance of our partner delivering all accounting transactional activities offshore, the Hub will be the home for Close and Control activities for most European markets as well as deliver more complex accounting activities such as Production Accounting.

How you will contribute to our success:
  • Establish yourself as a trusted partner for key business stakeholders 
  • Actively contribute to the success of finance projects 
  • Accountable for the reporting of financial results for the entities they are responsible for, with commentary covering income statement, balance sheet and cash flow
  • Manage the financial month end review process
  • Perform variance analysis for Balance Sheet, Operating expenses, Margins and Profitability
  • Ensure entities results are fully compliant with all accounting standards and regulations and business is compliant with financial control environment, including SOX controls
  • Sign-off of statutory results with in-market FD (Financial Director)
  • Support internal and external financial audits
  • Potentially, but not necessarily, managing a small team 
Why You?
  • Basic qualifications:
    • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or accounting qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
    • Experience in financial controlling and/or financial reporting (at least 5 years)
    • Fluent English (minimum C1)
    • Strong expertise in IFRS 
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Thrive in a fast-paced, modern working environment
    • Ability to work independently and with multiple stakeholders both internal and external
    • Willingness and availability to travel to take part in the migration process
  • Preferred qualifications:
    • People management experience
    • Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
    • Experience in a SOX environment  
    • Second European language
