Job title: Immigration Specialist
Reporting to: HR Admin Team Lead
Location: Krakow
Immigration Specialist serves as a point of contact for assigned business units in facilitating review of potential immigration cases in partnership with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
- Regular monitoring of foreign national employees legal status and documentation expiration to ensure prompted communication for renewals and updates to the business.
- Cooperates on a daily basis with Talent Acquisition team, HR and Operations management in order to ensure in a timely manner all required immigration support related to Non-EU employees recruitment, promotions and transfers between company departments.
- Support current employees from non-EU countries with an application process for a declarations on entrusting work to a foreigner and work and stay permits
- Respond to employment authorization and immigration questions, resolve concerns and escalate cases as necessary
- In partnership with legal counsel and internal stakeholders, ensure all paperwork is completed timely and precisely
- Works directly with employees, managers and outside immigration counsel in terms of accurate documents preparation and timely processing of immigration cases.
- Provide or organize immigration-related training as needed for internal stakeholders
- Maintain database or repository of immigration process-related documents
- Serve as SME for end to end case management of immigration policy and processes.
- Communicate clearly and effectively on immigration requirements and government procedures.
- Handling Employee Life Insurance
- 3 years of experience supporting immigration within a multi-national company
- At least advanced level of English
- Working knowledge of immigration and employment laws
- Exposure to the end to end process of non-immigrant and immigrant legal documentation filing is a must
- Hands-on experience in assisting employees and management with immigration issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organization.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and follow through to resolve outstanding issues.
- Ability to manage cases and work with strict time-lines.
