As a Compliance Expert, you will be supporting the Compliance Officer in developing a strong compliance awareness by implementing a comprehensive compliance program. Polpharma Biologics is a fast-growing company, which means that building a culture of compliance and a strong "top from the top" is our daily work. Our work also involves working with GDPR and personal data topics.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Building awareness of compliance with the Code of Conduct and compliance procedures;
- Cooperation with the Company's organizational units in the implementation and execution of the compliance policies and related internal procedures;
- Verification and improvement of processes related to ensuring compliance of activities with the law, internal procedures and industry standards in the organization;
- Coordination of Non-Compliance risk management process;
- Coordination and conducting internal investigation;
- Preparation of educational and training materials within the Company;
- Preparing and conducting trainings that raise awareness in the organization in the compliance area,
- Mitigate risk through reinforcing established procedures, spotting and escalating issues to the leadership team, and modeling business integrity and ethical behavior;
- Implementation, supervision and coordination of personal data processing processes in the Company;
- Cooperation with the IT department in the implementation of new IT solutions involving personal data in accordance with the law;
- Managing security incidents;
If you have:
- At least +5 years of compliance experience; preferably with legal, audit, risk management, or finance;
- Proficient in Polish and English;
- Demonstrated leadership experience in cultivating a strong organizational culture committed to strong ethical standards and conducting business in a compliant and transparent manner;
- Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business functions;
- Strong interpersonal influencing and negotiation skills, and proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of the organization;
- Critical thinking skills; ability to work through complex issues, including those with significant strategic risk to the company;
- Willingness to travel (Gdańsk) once a month
Niece to have:
- Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry;
- Comprehensive knowledge of laws/regulations applicable to a global healthcare company;
- Knowledge about handling GDPR issues;
