Currently we are looking for Candidates interested in the position of Indirect Manufacturing Category Leader. Our Client is the international company, the leader in its sector. This position is located in Warsaw.
Indirect Manufacturing Category Leader will be responsible for optimizing the procurement strategies and processes for all indirect manufacturing spends in Europe, mainly in the categories of: Capital Equipment, MRO, Facility Services, Utilities, Lab and Operating Supplies. He/She will manage all contracts and strategic business relationships as well as communication between Plant Leaders and Global Procurement Category.
The hired person will take actions in order to achieve annual savings and business targets, such as supplier reduction or process efficiency. He/She will manage a team of three/four people and will work in collaboration with global spend Category Leaders, stakeholders and suppliers in order to secure centrally led sourcing projects’ requirements. Indirect Manufacturing Category Leader will also negotiate contracts with suppliers and implement innovative contracts and new processes to optimize sourcing, supplier innovation and business simplification (change management plans).
A Bachelor's degree in Sourcing, Business or Finance is preferred and an advanced degree or certification is desirable. The candidate must have a significant experience in procurement processes (especially in previously mentioned categories) and change/project management. Strong leadership and communication skills including the ability to communicate across all management and organizational levels as well as ability to deliver results and think strategically are required. Fluency in English both written and spoken is a must while other language will be an additional advantage. The position requires openness to mobility within Europe (or globally).
