- Directly lead business development and sales efforts in the Logistics & Transportation industry to advance business opportunities.
- Experience leading the relationship management in key accounts to help drive strategic positioning of Luxoft and help facilitate a growing revenue stream.
- Provide technical thought leadership regarding new platform technologies and how they can help Logistics & Transportation companies.
- Build and define a key set of go-to-market solution scenarios and offerings to the market.
- Attend and speak at industry conferences on key topics affecting the next-generation Logistics & Transportation scenarios and opportunities.
- Create and maintain strategic business scorecards for sharing with Luxoft executive management.
- Solicit new business relationship with new customers from the Logistics Industry.
- Generate new leads in Europe, with special focus on German speaking countries, Netherlands and UK
- Develop and implement strategic plans to accelerate market share gain, meet and exceed sales plans
- Develop professional networks in the relevant region and industries
- Build strong relationship with major customers personally
- Own regional sales plan and business development strategy for the relevant line of business
- Work with clients practice and product heads to tailor mid- and long-term service portfolio and delivery model to fit its client´s needs.
- Own the complete business development and sales process from lead to revenue, including market and competitor analyses, product management, proposal development, customer presentations, work estimations, commercial negotiations, contracting and relationship with client's VRM and sourcing team.
- Understand client business needs, participate in solution development and effectively communicate solutions.
- Work in close collaboration with delivery and pre-sale teams in other locations
- Budget Planning and financial performance to ensure profitable growth
- 10+ years experience in IT solutions for logistics, preferably in the IT Services sector (global consulting, advisory or outsourcing companies); Knowledge of the retail sector preferred.
- 5+ years on executive Sales or Business Development positions selling complex business software solutions and services to large accounts.
- Good understanding of custom software development process.
- Deep understanding of Logistics solutions domain, especially Supply Chain Management, Courier & Express, Freight & Forwarding.
- Proven sales, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English and German.
- Rather “Hunter” then “Farmer”, Market Development by figures.
- Strong relationship building skills.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience.
- Degree as Master of Science, Dipl. Ing. or equivalent (Advanced degree desirable).
- Ability to conceptualize creative/innovative technology solutions.
- Ability to travel (app. 30% of working time)

The manager will help grow company revenue at the intersection of the Logistics & Transportation industry and new technologies. It will be the opportunity to define solution strategy, marketing approach and partner model to define overall go-to-market initiatives in the Logistics & Transportation sector. The future Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for lead generation and business solicitation within our client´s Enterprise Solutions practice.
