For one of ours clients - international provider of the research and product development inCloud computing area including development platforms, massive scalability andsecurity - we are searching for IT Engineer.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the IT Team you will be responsible for pre-sales, design, support and implementation of large data centers solutions. The position is a hands-on role for supporting large andcomplex projects.
- Support the pre-sales processesin all IT perspectives (Storage, Servers HW, Virtualization, Operating systems, IT Security etc.)
- IT perspective site survey
- Be involved with the HQ ITdesign team on the actual IT design process
- Lead the IT design implementation including staging, Acceptance Test Plans (ATP) and knowledge transfer
- Hands on installation and configuration capabilities of the relevant IT components
- Tier 4 support for deployed solutions
Skills and experience
- Strong IT background (3+ years)in large organization
- Design experience in building data centers - essential
- Current, enterprise-class Infrastructure/Windows System Engineering experience with Microsoft platforms running on Intel servers utilizing directly attached and SAN attached storage
- Experience designing, implementing and managing Active Directory, Information Server (IIS), SQLServer and Microsoft Cluster Server
- Experience designing, implementing and managing VMware virtualization environment
- Experience with Wintel Hard wareplatforms (Dell, HP, Cisco), Rack mount and Blade Servers
- Experience with central storage environment (Netapp, HP, Dell etc.)
- Experience with Application integration end-to-end testing including installation, system-wide parameters set up validation, field acceptance testing
- Experience in cloud based solutions
- Experience working closely and collaboratively with the sales and account teams
- Strong presentation skills and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in making technical presentations
- Ability to travel up to 50%
