(Junior) Accounting & HR Manager (f/m/x)

Founded in 2011 and based in the heart of Berlin Mitte (a few steps away from Checkpoint Charlie and the Rocket Internet tower!), greatcontent has provided over 1,500 clients with comprehensive editorial planning, SEO copywriting, editing, and localization services in +30 different languages and variations to date. And this isn’t everything: we are fast growing into the leading content service provider in Europe!
In order to continue our growth we need your help and support as a Junior Accounting & HR Manager (f/m/x). In this function you will be the backbone of greatcontent’s finance and accounting operations and work directly with our project teams and COO.
These will be your tasks
- Manage our creditors especially incoming receipts and payment scheduling
- Manage our debtors as well as dunning process
- Monitor incoming and outgoing payments on a daily basis
- Manage all our money transfers across different platforms and countries
- Support our monthly billing process including outgoing invoice creation and control travel expenses
- Digitize all incoming documents and manage their filing
- Support our HR during the recruiting process e.g. by placing of job ads, coordination of appointments and communication with candidates
- Prepare contracts as well as on- and offboarding documents
- Support on ad-hoc tasks within the team
Wymagania
- A bachelor's degree or finished commercial apprenticeship in business or accounting
- At least one year of experience in a comparable role through internships or previous assignments in finance, accounting or HR management
- Full working proficiency in German and English, any other language is a plus
- A pragmatic and solution-oriented working style
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and responsible hands-on mentality
- MS Office skills (esp. Excel and Word) are part of your daily routine.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, tools and standards e.g. DATEV
