- Assist with the preparation of efficient departmental work schedules.
- Liaise with Front Office for guest and hotel requirements.
- Replenish guest supplies and ensure that guests requests are promptly attended to.
- Follow washing instructions provided by the Supervisor or follow garment instruction as appropriate. Assist Housekeeping Department where necessary to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Carefully use of laundry chemicals, solvent and spotting chemicals as instructed.
- Responsible for reporting to supervisor or engineering any maintenance deficiencies. Must be well versed in chemicals knowledge and procedures of stain removals pertaining to guest garments and house linen.
- Provide laundry, pressing, sewing, and other similar services to guests
- Ensure soiled and damaged linen is stored in soiled bags and disposed of correctly
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Must have the ability to multi task
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Respond to guest requests and deliver high levels of service
