My client is very well established bespoke vehicle manufacturing company based near Peaterhead in Scotland with a presence across the UK. Currently they are actively recruiting 2 Maintenance Engineers to work in near Peterhead, Scotland. This is a permanent opportunity for candidate with previous experience electrical, mechanical as well as some facility maintenance.
Responsibilities would include:
The successful candidate will be responsible for carry out breakdown and repair maintenance on plant equipment, carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) in line with pre-determined schedules as well as carry out facility maintenance.

Job description
Responsibilities:
- Respond to machine breakdowns with a view to minimizing downtime and improving machine availability and reliability
- Documenting activities and spares requirements used onto the work request system
- To actively support a culture of Continuous Improvement, looking at ways to engineer our persistent problems
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns
- Repairing equipment
Shift and ‘on-call' work may be required, particularly where manufacturing equipment is in continual 24-hour operation.
Requirements
- Electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
- PLC Experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens etc.) would be advantages
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels
- Experience in PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance)
- Good Level of English
