Being a system integrator the company offers Roll-to-Roll production platforms for 'Printed Electronics' applications such as PV Solar and OLED lighting. It is expected that the production of electronics on flexible substrates using printing and coating methods will offer huge growth opportunities in the coming decades.
The company focuses on product development, marketing & sales and customer support; manufacturing is outsourced to one or more contract manufacturing partners. It operates in a large network of technology providers; its role is to integrate various manufacturing processes in line on the Roll-to-Roll platform.

Job description
Tasks
- Mechanical design and engineering
- Creation of a modular design
- Hardware interface design for 'own' and 'third party' modules
- Setting up new development environment
- Responsible for effective and robust solutions
- Cost estimations
- Complete technical documentation package including bill of materials, manuals, CE
- Selection of suppliers
- Machine safety
- Testing and measurement
- Set-up mechanical development infrastructure

Profile
- Relevant experience in high tech equipment design
- Customer oriented

- Team player, in the own company and towards consortium partners and suppliers
- Likes to help building a company
- Efficient in dealing with time pressure and budget constraints
- Hands-on, helps on the floor during installation, commissioning and support in the field with problem analysis / resolution where required
- Experience with 'low-particle designing' and R2R platforms is an advantage
- Base location: Eindhoven; limited travel required
- Good verbal/written communication in English
