Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn offers small-scale living, day activities, and 24-hour care to children and young adults with a (multiple) intellectual disability.
The estate is located in the Betuwe region, between the villages of Heesselt and Varik, and offers residents a peaceful, green living environment with their own studio apartments.
Bloemfonteijn was founded by Rian and Monique Verwoert, who also live on the estate themselves. This commitment characterizes the entire organization: lines of communication are short, the team is close-knit, and the care is personal.
Residents are supported in small living groups, where safety, familiarity, and a fixed routine are central.
The estate itself plays an important role in the day activities, featuring, among other things:
- An animal pasture
- A sensory garden
- Swimming
- Horseback riding
- Walking paths through the nature reserve
As a Verzorgende IG at Zorglandgoed Bloemfonteijn, you support residents with a multiple intellectual disability with their daily care and personal grooming.

- Working according to individual care plans and adapting your approach to the physical, communication, and personal needs of each resident.
- Performing technical nursing procedures within your qualifications, such as tube feeding, medication administration, and skin care.
- Monitoring residents' health and behaviour and identifying changes.
