50% of time - design and development, 50% - team management, process improvements
Lead the groups of Oracle developers
Communicate with project management, customer and other project teams
Plan, control and take corrective action items on overall Oracle development
Suggest and implement development process improvements
Design & implement features based on priorities & estimation
Prepare and review estimations, break down, be responsible on commitments
Participate in solution discussion, estimation, releases on different environments
Technical:
- Strong knowledge of software development processes
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle 11.x database and RDBMS concepts, warehouse concepts
- Good written and spoken English
- Unix platform
- Experience with Investment Banking business / trading applications and protocols is a plus
