Job Description
- Redefining all the internal processes according to the lean organization principles.
- Creating and maintaining a cultural change which will affect all levels of the organization.
- Analyzing the data resulting from internal and external audits and from statistical process controls, in order to set improvement plans.
- Performing audits requested by Customers.
- Planning, coordinating and reporting of all the improvement projects.
- Managing the relationship with the major suppliers and customers and negotiating customer quality agreements.
- Analyzing the state of the quality achieved and reporting on a regular basis to the Managing Director.
- Obtaining certification ISO TS 16949 and maintaining the relationship with Certification Organization (Bureau Veritas).
- Managing and developing people within the Quality Department.
- Effectively interacting with other Department Managers.
- Engineering degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
- Minimum five years experience in the automotive industry or within fastening production for industrial industries is mandatory.
- Willingness to relocate to Italy (Umbria).
- Experience in formal Quality 6 Sigma, improvement tools, measurement and methodology is expected.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Fluent English speaking ability is mandatory.
- Ability to work with a high level of independence.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members.
- Strong commitment and motivation to achieve results.
- Good organizational skills.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work on own initiative.
