- Do Production Issue support
- Support system integration and user acceptance testing
- Utilize existing Perl infrastructure
- Supporting existing applications
Technical requirements:
- Proven experience in Perl and/or scripting (2 years)
- Familiarity with good programming practices
- Experience with UNIX platforms
- Experience with schedulers, e.g. autosys, and crontab
- Databases: experience with SQL language
- Familiarity with debugging techniques
- Good understanding of revision control systems (e.g. SVN/GIT)
- Groovy, BeanShell and Java are a plus
Other skills:

This is an opportunity for working in a permanent onsite London position. The project is a distributed Information system of the Investment Bank intended to maintain operations for derivatives trading on global markets, internal & external orders management, risk and P&L calculation.
The main skills required are Perl development and Linux specific tool configuration & usage.
