Revit Technician - Security & Technology
Location: Wielka Brytania, Londyn
Job description
Revit Technician helps Engineers with complex security system designs (CCTV, intruder detection, access controls etc.) in 3D Building Information Models (BIM).
Responsibilities:
- Utilizing the latest BIM technologies (Revit, Dynamo et al.) to develop detailed 3D models
- Take responsibility for drawing issues and daily housekeeping in terms of both digital and hard copy project file storage
- Ensure delivery of drawing work to agreed project programmes
- Develop concept ideas into drawing details
- Making sure that drawing production follows company standards
- Reviewing drawings to check compliance with design and ensuring good detailing practice is being undertaken
- Assist in the development of new BIM processes, particularly with regard to automation
Requirements
- Experience in 3D modelling software (Revit/ Dynamo)
- Understanding of BIM workflow and technology
- Experience in CCTV systems, intruder detection, access control or ICT infrastructure modelling
- Sound computer and IT skills; use of Microsoft Office software essential
- Team player with good communication skills, able to work with project for external clients
- HNC, HND or equivalent qualification with good numeracy and literacy skills would stand you in good stead
