- Computer Science degree or equivalent engineer qualification
- At least two years of experience as software engineer
- Solid knowledge of software engineering concepts throughout the development lifecycle (requirement management, development methodologies, testing and documentation)!
- Good understanding of Java related technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, Maven as well as databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Experience with Scala and Python are welcome but not mandatory
- Hands on experience with Web Services, particularly RESTful applications
- Experience with managing remote teams with Agile methodologies (preferably XP and Scrum) and with collaboration tools such as Jira
- Excellent communication skills with regards to stakeholders and fluent English is required
