Responsibilites
we will be working with a small but capable team to deliver and support new state architecture for Risk calculation platform in one of the biggest investment banks, working closely with Quants team.
Involved in all aspects of the product life cycle: requirements gathering, documentation, design
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years development experience
- Minimum 5+ years solid working experience with Java on Unix/Linux
- Minimum 3+ years of experience working in finance
- Experience in building scalable, distributed applications capable of supporting straight through processing of a large number of transactions
- Experience in the following: JAVA/J2EE, SQL, XML/XSL, WebServices, C++
- ETL knowledge and experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Stored Procedures
- Knowledge of risk management is highly desirable
- Knowledge of derivatives products including Equity Swaps, CFDs, futures, options, Interest Rate Swaps, repurchase agreements, stock loan, Credit, Default Swaps and convertible bonds is highly desirable
