Senior Java Developer / Software Engineer

What the job is about:
- Architecture and design of Java Android based applications and SAAS tiered systems
- Development leadership over junior staff, focused on delivering customer products, across the world...taking products from conception to market quality·
- Development mentorship over junior staff, implementing Agile development processes and pursuit of continuous integration, continuous testing environments.... bringing creativity to the art of building high quality software
- Liaise with other development teams, product management, customer support and sales
Requirements:
- At least 5 years Java / JEE development experience
- Some architecture experience but lots of design and implementation
- Experience in concurrent programming / multi threading
- Experience producing production quality software, in an agile environment
- Strong systems analysis skills. An ability to take requirements and apply structured techniques to determine solution architectures and functional/ technical specs.
- Strong database experience
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Team Lead experience
- BSc degree in Computer Science or similar
