Responsibilities:

Develop KDB and Java based Time Series Data Infrastructure. Provide input into strategic architecture definition. Write unit tests to test out code that you have written for analytics. Analyze and measure performance of the system using standardized performance tests, identify bottlenecks and eliminate them. Answer user questions, provide bug fixes for production issues. Develop new application features and support existing functionalities. Work closely to the business being contact point between team located offshore and onsite customers. |

Requirements:

Must have: Java 5+ years Object Oriented Programming 5+ Years SQL 5+ Years Design Patterns Strong Communication skills Being able to design and develop complex server side software applications in Java. Being able to communicate ideas clearly. Quick learner who can pick up KDB. Quick learner who is enthusiastic about learning new software technology like KDB, business domain specifically time series analytics. Be able to ramp up and be productive in matter of days. Nice to have: Exposure to KDB Some mathematical / analytics exposure IB Front office technology experience Excel |
