MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer who is passionate about coding and IT Security. Does providing a continuously secure and customer friendly banking environment to millions of customers. The average squad consists of developers, ops engineers, customer journey experts and a product owner. As a team you are end-to-end responsible for the customer journey you are working on. Your daily work will consist of coding, refinement of story's, reviewing, testing (automated), building and deploying, monitoring, and dealing with incidents.
As a Senior Java Developer, you need to be a strong coder and you need to have an interest in IT security. You must be a true team player. You speak up, are transparent and not shy to stand up for your own opinions. You have an instinctive need to share knowledge and continuously improve yourself and the team.

YOUR PROFILE
- 10 years of relevant experience,
- Strong programming skills in Java and related frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and JPA/Hibernate,
- Working knowledge on designing and building Rest APIs,
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Cassandra exp. is a plus),
- Good understanding of TDD (Test Driven Development) and ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development),
- Knowledge of messaging middleware such as Kafka and MQ,
- ELK stack,
- GIT/GitLab/GitLab-CI, Maven, Artifactory, Jenkins,
- Azure DevOps,
- Azure Cloud Services,
- Kubernetes, Openshift, and Cloud Solutions (Azure preferably),
- Good knowledge of risk and security measures,
- Passionate about code quality,
- Experience with Agile / Scrum,
- Good Command of Dutch Language both verbal and in writing.
