A Senior Consultant may focus on project delivery, technical leadership or a combination of both. They will be a strong, disciplined technologist, with experience a across multiple projects, in a variety of roles including technical or team leadership. They will be able to take on a variety of roles in fast paced financial markets projects, keen to remain hands on while making contributions around code quality, standards, planning and team leading where appropriate. They should be someone who is keeps abreast of the key technology trends in their field and who is keen to contribute to the community of technologists across the company, as well as mentoring more junior consultants. In particular they must be delivery focussed, adaptable, pragmatic yet thorough, and able to translate requirements in to effective solutions, lead the design of elements of code and applications, driving best practice and have experience of working with a variety of methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Fundamentally we are looking for someone who take on a technical leadership role, who has a consultancy mind-set, can both write enterprise quality code, and also can pull projects through to completion
