Your responsibilities
- You ensure the applications of our clients provide the expected business value by analyzing customer demands and creating appropriate technical specifications
- You apply state of the art technologies to implement modern solutions on all levels for our clients
- You work closely with the business and IT departments of our customers to design and develop tailored solutions
- You ensure the different layers and modules you develop form a stringent and consistent system architecture
- You instill agile and DevOps thinking into your work environments and projects and act as ambassador for constant interaction, fast feedback loops and continuous improvement and learning
Your profile
- Multi-year experience in the development of Java Enterprise Applications (Java EE 6 and Java SE 8 or higher)
- Skills in Java EE Web Profile Technologies (e.g. EJB, JPA, JAX-RS and CDI)
- Experience with interface protocols like XML/ SOAP, JSON/ REST or MQ/ JMS and container technologies
- Experience with JavaScript/ECMAScript and at least one modern UI Framework (e.g. Angular or React)
- Skills and interest in Web UI standards HTML5, CSS3, etc.
- Knowledge of modern development environments and tool chains for automated continuous integration, testing and deployment
- Willingness to travel
- Bachelor or Master in computer science, software engineering or similar
- Fluent language skills in German and English
