Senior QA Engineer

• Being responsible for all aspects of incident resolution including impact analysis, root cause identification, effective communication with affected users.
• Identify and report defects, follow-up on them through resolutions
• Perform functional and regression testing
• Design and execute test cases
• Communicate by phone with English speaking collegues

• Minimum 4 years of practical experience of software testing and its types (unit, component, system, integration, functional, reliability, availability, business and user acceptance)
• Knowledge and practical experience of test stages and types (unit, component, system, integration, functional, reliability, availability, volume, performance, business and operations acceptance)
• Ability to prepare and perform test scenarios and test cases
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Strong business analytical skills
• Good understanding of software application development and defect lifecycles
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• Be quick learner and have an ability to learn using various complex banking applications.

Nice to have:

• Unix/Linux, shell scripting is a plus
• Experience of investment banking environment - Trade lifecycle, Financial Markets

The project is intended to provide Order Management System for traders (global equity derivatives markets) of the client. During their daily duties traders use our system to get information about instruments and prices, to execute orders, to get consolidated information about deals, to communicate with other client services. As integration point of several IT services of the client's the application provides different kinds of reports used during reconciliation and calculation of financial results.
