Our client is a software product company developing unique solutions for the analysis of the global shipping of commodities. They sell this information to the financial trading markets. They use the latest technologies, machine learning and data analysis to provide real time insights and value to their customers.
We are looking to speak with experienced software engineers and software developers who are working in Java, Scala and Akka. This role is based in our client’s office in Dublin, Ireland.

The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 3 years commercial software development experience, ideally in Java and Scala technologies. You will be a team player who likes working in a fast paced environment where your team works together for the benefit of everyone.
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the following:
- Scala, Java
- Sql, MongoDB
- AWS, Redshift
- Linux
Other requirements:
- 4 years commercial software development experience.
- Strong understanding of Scala and related technologies.
- Experience in any of the following Java/Ruby/Python.
- Experience in Agile environmemt.
- Degree in Computer Science or similar.

- Role: Permanent Full Time
- Salary: €55,000 - €60,000
