The Engineering & Procurement division (E&P) is responsible for all engineering, procurement, IS/IT and information management activities in our projects.
This position will support the Electrical, Instrument and Telecommunication department. The department covers the Electrical, Instrument and Telecommunication disciplines and is also responsible for the completion phase of all our projects. The department is responsible for design and specification of all types of systems ranging from simple electrical systems to specification and procurement of complex process and control systems.
With several exiting projects ahead, we seek to increase our team of skilled engineers and technicians and we are currently looking for Specialist Engineers with a minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in these areas;
Specialist Electrical Engineer with experience in high voltage and electrical analysis and in electrical system design and interface to control.
Specialist Instrument Engineer with experience from field instrumentation, fiscal metering systems and functional description of control (Cause & Effect and System Control Diagrams (SCD))
Specialist Engineer Telecom
- Participate in concept development
- Prepare specifications, data sheets and drawings
- Follow-up the purchase packages and update project records with supplier information
- Prepare job packages and follow up installation activities
- Preparation of commissioning procedure and packages and participate in testing of equipment
- Extensive contact with customer and suppliers
- Preparation of offers and requests
- Two to three years college degree
- Five to seven years relevant experience
- Experience with NORSOK is a competitive advantage
- Strong communication and excellent team skills
- Excellent English skills, written and oral
- Engineering management experience is considered an asset
